Quality Control for email Delivery and Efficiency
Quality Control for email Delivery and Efficiency
- Review grammar, spelling. We internally check grammar and spelling on all emails.
- Review content for filters, CAN-SPAM. We run the creative files through a content checker to ensure that they are unlikely to trip common spam filters. When problems arise, we suggest for copy changes. Also, we have a functional unsubscribe option as part of this process. Analyze content of email/newsletter and provide “SPAM rating” to determine what content and formatting changes are needed.
- Opt-out list. A built-in central database system with automatic/instant opt-outs to ensure no one in your firm sends another email to an opt-out (Can-SPAM Act 2003 requirement).
- Weight, size, other specs. Among other things, we ensure that the HTML file does not “weigh” more than about 25K to 30K, and that the file is not wider than practical, usually about 600-640 pixels. In addition, the HTML file is a combination of images and text as opposed to one giant image (which, incredibly, we have often seen used: i.e. Eddie Bauer emails).
- Image weight, location. We either host images or ensure that the images are hosted correctly on the client’s server (and that the HTML code is accurate). In addition, we optimize the images for fast loading.
- TEXT version. We manually prepare the TEXT version of the message to ensure that it gets to all subscribers who have opted for TEXT version. The TEXT version is created with a decent amount of white space to increase readability, and all hyperlinks exist on unique lines with hard returns before and after the links.
- Creation, hosting of Web version. We generate a Web-based version of the email communication, and then we include a link to that version in both the HTML and TEXT versions.
- Link tracking, testing. In addition to setting up link tracking, we assign “friendly” names to each link so that reporting will be easier to interpret. Also, each link is checked prior to testing to ensure that it is functional and that the target is correct. Number of emails opened.
- Internal test. Given the concerns that most people have with deliverability, filters and spam issues, the internal testing process is more important than ever. We have a protocol established to send tests to major ISPs and Web-based email services to ensure not only that the mail is delivered but also that it is not routed to a junk-mail folders.
- External test. Before we actually deploy the message it is not the first time that the client sees it “live.” Rather, there is an external test cycle in which we send the message to appropriate seed names from the client so that approval can be given to deploy the mailing as instructed.
- Research. Industry Research on deliverability, content, best practices.*
- Email bounce. Email Bounce Management to identify exactly why some subscribers may not be receiving emails.*

How to get a loan from Prosper.com
Purpose of the Loan:
Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my listing! This a relist for a loan that was not fully funded. I am requesting $17,000 to consolidate and simplify payments on the high interest portion of my credit card debt and pay it off within a set period of time.
Background:
I accumulated most of the debt during my 20’s due to a year-long period of unemployment and generally poor spending habits. In the last several years, I have learned how to properly budget and spend within my means. However, the high variable-rate interest on the credit card balances has made it difficult to make much progress against the principle.
I am turning to Prosper at this point because my girlfriend and I have been making plans for our future together which include marriage and hopefully purchasing a house within the next couple of years. I would like to bring a clean financial slate to the commitment and the Prosper loan is one step towards that goal.
My Financial Situation:
With the exception of my high-interest credit card debt, my financial situation is good. I have a long history of paying my bills on time and have no delinquencies on my credit report. My low credit rating is due to poor balance-to-available credit ratio. I always thought canceling credit cards as I paid down my debt was the responsible thing to do, but I have since learned of the negative effect losing available credit will have on my credit rating.
I have been employed continuously for the last five years and have worked my way up from unemployment to part-time hourly to full-time salaried in that time. My current employer, who I joined last summer based on a co-worker’s referral, is a growing IT consulting company that made Inc. Magazine’s Top 500 Companies list last year. In addition to my full-time job, I also make about $200-300 a month working a part-time job on weekends. All earnings from that are for emergency funds (car repairs, etc.) – since this goes directly into my savings, I don’t include it in my monthly budget.
My car is fully paid for and generally reliable. Any funds left over after paying bills and putting a little in savings is used for fun. I try to let this accrue as much as possible for the occasional dinner date or flowers for my girlfriend and use free or cheap entertainment (i.e. Library) for my day-to-day diversions.
Loan Dispersement:
I will be dividing the loan between three credit cards. The balance owed and interest rates are as follows:
Credit Card 1: $9000 (29.99%)
Credit Card 2: $3700 (29.99%)
Credit Card 3: $4300 (32.24%)
Monthly Budget:
Net Income: $2660
Rent: $ 830
Credit Card 1: $ 350 (Paid with Prosper Loan)
Credit Card 2: $ 200 (Paid with Prosper Loan)
Credit Card 3: $ 200 (Paid with Prosper Loan)
Other Credit: $ 350
Cell Phone: $ 60
Internet/Cable: $ 100
College Loan: $ 115
Utilities: $ 100
————————
$ 355 (Food, gas, savings – Anything left over after those expenses is my recreation money)
My work as a consultant helps me keep my food and fuel costs to a minimum as I spend most weeks in other cities and all my expenses are reimbursed.
Repayment:
Should my loan be fully funded, I will make payments using automatic deductions from my verified checking account using money that has already been budgeted for my credit card payments. This loan will be paid off on-time or earlier. I welcome any inquiries about the information I have provided and I appreciate y
